For over 20 years, we have been working purposefully to fully exploit ecological and economic improvement potential and strive to reduce the environmental impact of our operations as much as possible. Our objective is to continuously reduce our CO2 emissions and thus fulfil our responsibility for climate protection.
To implement this transparently, reliably and scientifically, we have adopted the SBTi targets. With our environmentally friendly products and digitised processes, we are also helping to reduce our customers' environmental footprint. We don't just pass this objective on to our employees and business partners; we make it an integral part of our corporate culture.

We at Faller Packaging are proud of the fact that all our locations, both national and international, have been awarded two important ISO certifications:
ISO 14001 – Our commitment to the environment
With the ISO 14001 standard, we rely on a comprehensive environmental management system. This internationally recognised standard helps us to implement sustainable environmental protection measures, achieve our environmental goals and ensure compliance with legal requirements. For us, this means continuously improving our environmental performance, today and in the future.
ISO 50001 – Efficient use of energy
ISO 50001 certification demonstrates our commitment to reducing energy consumption in a targeted manner. With a structured energy management system, we identify potential savings and implement measures that increase our energy efficiency. This not only brings ecological benefits, but also economic ones.
Commitment to the SBTi (Science Based Targets Initiative)
At Faller Packaging, we have joined the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) to actively combat climate change. The SBTi supports companies worldwide in setting science-based climate targets that are in line with the Paris Agreement.
Our next step: we are developing a clear reduction path for our CO₂ emissions that will be validated by the SBTi. This will ensure that our measures are measurable and contribute to real, sustainable climate protection.
Home strech 2023
At the end of 2021, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Southern Upper Rhine and the Regio Freiburg Energy Agency launched the “Zielgerade 2030” (2030 home stretch). This alliance provides expert support to companies to achieve a common objective: climate neutrality for companies in the region.
Since the beginning of 2022, Faller Packaging has been one of the first companies to become a climate pioneer in the Upper Rhine region. We support each other in becoming as climate-neutral as possible by the end of this decade. For us, this means that in 2030, we will only emit the unavoidable share of CO₂ equivalents (CO₂e) through our operations and remove just as much CO₂e from the atmosphere as we cause.
