Here you will get an overview of Faller Packaging's sustainable activities.
At Faller, sustainability means balancing economic success, ecological responsibility and social commitment.
Playing sports together
We love sport, and it is best to do it together.
For example, at the B2Run in Freiburg, at our Global Challenge 2018 our marathon run, and so on.
Taking social responsibility
We are deeply committed to our region and are constantly mindful of our corporate social responsibility. Even our trainees are already actively helping: Once a year, they support institutions in the region as part of the “Social Commitment” campaign days.
Such as for the residential and nursing home St. Nikolai Spitalfonds in Waldkirch.
Working ergonomically
Health-conscious working contributes a great deal to well-being at the workplace. But: How does it work exactly?
Since 2019, specially trained ergonomics scouts at the Faller Packaging factories in Binzen and Schopfheim have been passing this knowledge on to their colleagues. They pass on tips in compact training sessions and demonstrate exercises for loosening and relaxing in the workplace, especially for activities that strain the back, such as sitting and standing at the PC as well as lifting and carrying.
Training young people
Every year, more than 80 qualified trainers take care of training young colleagues in more than 10 different professions.
As a family-owned company, it is extremely important to us not only to provide technical training but also to convey the values on which our success is based.
Apprenticeships and Studies
Support Reforestation
Since 2015, we have been supporting the charitable project MAVUNO in northern Tanzania. Volunteers from Germany work there together with the inhabitants of the region on a variety of social projects.
For example, many helpers are involved in reforestation and have planted more than 15,000 new trees since 2015
