Faller Packaging launches a recyclable multipage adhesive label without laminate.
July 2019, Schopfheim/Waldkirch, Germany. August Faller, the specialist company for pharmaceutical packaging, has marketed a new multi-page adhesive label for medicines. It is made of laminate-free paper, so it can be 100 percent recycled. All the advantages of the proven multi-page labels from Faller are retained.
The sustainability of packaging is gaining in importance across all industries, including the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. To react efficiently to this situation, August Faller has developed a multi-page adhesive label for glass, plastic, paper and cardboard containers – without the usual film lamination. The label is made of paper and can be safely recycled – making a significant contribution to more environmentallyfriendly pharmaceutical packaging. The innovative idea was realised at the Faller factory in Schopfheim, southern Baden-Württemberg, which specialises in the production of labels.
August Faller’s multi-page adhesive labels are available in versions from 2 to 32 pages – enabling pharmaceutical companies to accommodate a particularly large amount of information for doctors, pharmacists and patients on a minimal surface area. A combination of label and package inserts, they are available in two versions: as a booklet label in brochure form and as a folded leaflet label. Customers can also choose from a wide range of design options: for example, the labels can be produced in permanently adhesive, detachable or resealable form – and they can be equipped with perforations, detachable sides or various opening variants. If the customer wishes, Faller can also deliver the labels with Braille and a serial code pursuant to Directive 2011/62/EU.
