Milestones

Dr. Daniel Keesman and Dr. Michael Faller hand over the management of the company to Dagmar Schmidt on 1 July 2024. Dr. Michael Faller will move to the Advisory Board.

Faller Packaging is expanding production in Denmark in order to be able to respond to the rapidly growing demand in the Scandinavian countries. A 5700 square metre building complex in Horsens was acquired for this purpose. The plant is to be expanded step by step in order to be able to produce 600 million folding cartons annually.

Faller Packaging celebrates its 140th company anniversary on 1 May 2022.

Faller disposes of its joint venture partner "Bellwyck Pharmaceutical Services" and thus also of "Bellwyck Faller Pharmaceutical Services".

Takeover of the Hungarian leaflet manufacturer "Pharma Print Kft."

Faller and the Irish provider of artwork solutions "Perigord Premedia Ltd." establish a joint venture.

Opening of the subsidiary "PackEx GmbH" with headquarters in Worms. PackEx is specialised in the express production of folding cartons in small and very small batches.

Faller establishes joint venture "Bellwyck Faller Pharmaceutical Services" with Canadian partner "Bellwyck Pharmaceutical Services".
In addition to the existing Contract Packaging Services, the joint venture offers packaging and logistics services for clinical trials.

Opening of the production facility in Łódź, Poland, which also provides an expanded folding carton production.

Takeover of the Danish folding carton manufacturer "A.C. Schmidt" in Hvidovre, as an expansion of the folding carton production and special production of folding carton finishes.

Opening of the PharmaServiceCenter packaging services in Großbeeren near Berlin.

Start of digital printing for adhesive labels at the location in Schopfheim.

The production of adhesive labels started at the location in Schopfheim.

2003 the new building in Binzen took place.  The production from the other plants was partly moved to Binzen.

Faller has been producing leaflets only in Binzen since 2009.

In 2002 the takeover of the leaflet manufacturer "Trefzer Druck GmbH" took place. Faller Packaging started to focus on the production of leaflets.

On July 1, 1999, the majority of the shares of the "Göppert GmbH & Co. KG" from Waldkirch were purchased. However, the legal merger did not take place until the end of 2003.

First certification according to DIN ISO 9001.
Since the beginning of the nineties, Faller Packaging has concentrated on the pharmaceutical packaging market.

Start of production of folding cartons in addition to paper labels and chocolate wrappers at the location in Waldkirch.

Foundation of the company as a lithographic printing plant by August Faller in "Lange Strasse" in Waldkirch.
Labels, letterheads, postcards and business stationery were produced.
