Paper pouches serve as sustainable secondary packaging for pharmaceutical and healthcare products
Paper pouches as recyclable packaging for medicines and medical devices? What works well for food could also be a sustainable alternative to folding cartons. Faller Packaging took up this idea from an employee and realized the first prototypes together with machine manufacturer Gerhard Schubert.
The result is impressive: reduced storage, transport and waste volumes thanks to less weight, recyclable and sealable pouches with integrated first-opening protection. All that is needed now is feedback from customers before the first medicines in paper pouches can be launched on the market in the near future.
