Munich, Frankfurt and Lörrach: these were the venues for our exclusive seminars "The Future of Pharmaceutical Packaging" from 25th to 27th June 2019. More than 100 customers gladly accepted our invitation and thus obtained a condensed overview of current requirements, trends, technologies and innovations in the world of pharmaceutical packaging.

August Faller has won the German Innovation Award 2019. At the ceremony in Berlin on May 28, we received the coveted award, which is awarded by the German Design Council, in the category "Excellence in Business to Business - Medical Technologies".

Turnover at a record level, international branches growing steadily and the founding of our subsidiary PackEx: The year 2018 was extremely successful for August Faller. Not only economically, but also ecologically and socially a lot has happened in our company. After all, it is always our aspiration to take responsibility: for our customers, our employees and our environment.

As part of our corporate health management program, several employees at our production sites in Binzen and Schopfheim have been trained to become “ergonomics scouts” in January. In the course provided by the AOK health insurance they dealt, among other things, with back-friendly working and the ergonomic execution of stressful activities such as lifting and carrying, standing or sitting on a PC.

Packaging for pharmaceutical products needs to include more and more information: from physician, pharmacist and patient advice to serialization codes required by law. This makes the development of suitable packaging solutions a difficult task – after all, there is very little space available for such an amount of data.

In 2018, 224 of our employees took part in the company fitness competition "Global Challenge". In teams of seven people each, their goal was to walk at least 10,000 steps every day for 6 months – for fun and to improve their health.

August Faller and Perigord Premedia Ltd. announce entering a joint venture, with Perigord acquiring a majority stake in our sudsidiary August Faller Artwork Solutions (AFAS) GmbH.
