This year, we once again wanted to go on tour to communicate our expertise in every aspect of pharmaceutical packaging. Unfortunately, the Corona pandemic has made that impossible. However, we have had an idea and transferred the event to the Web – you could say a house concert, not a tour. From 3 to 4 p.m on 13th May, you can take part in our Live Webinar, which goes under the title “Optimisation of the Artwork and Packaging Supply Chain”.

Packaging has a strong influence on customers’ purchasing decisions, and that’s especially true for over-the-counter pharmaceutical products. Therefore, we offer our customers a wide range of ways to enhance the look and feel of folding cartons to make them more attractive at the point of sale. The options include high-gloss surfaces, matt-gloss effects, special contrasts, brilliant special-effect inks and embossing.

We are all feeling the dramatic effects of the pandemic of the novel coronavirus CoVid 19, now reminiscent of Dante Alighieri's Inferno. As Executive Managing Partner of the Faller Packaging Group, it is my duty and responsibility, together with our entire management team, to maintain the health of our employees and contain the further spread of the virus.

The 2019 financial year was hugely successful for the August Faller Group: turnover reached a new record high of 145 million euros. We achieved around three-quarters of this in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. However, we are also becoming increasingly successful in other regions - for example in Eastern Europe.

Conventional packaging concepts usually include inserts made of plastic. Our alternative is an ecological packaging with inserts made of recyclable cardboard.

Faller Packaging is using resource-saving and renewable mono-material for this environmentally friendly pharmaceutical packaging. The inserts made of recyclable cardboard offer an optimal product fixation.

This year in May, we are once again going on tour to communicate our expertise in every aspect of pharmaceutical packaging: Visitors to our joint roadshow with Perigord, which goes under the title “Optimisation of the Artwork and Packaging Supply Chain”, will have the opportunity to attend three exclusive seminars:

Bellwyck Packaging Inc. with headquarters in the CanadianToronto has expanded its Bellwyck PharmaServices to the American company PCI PharmaServices, including its 50-percent stake inof Bellwyck Faller Pharmaceutical Services GmbH, which is locatedin Großbeeren (Brandenburg). Faller Packaging,owner of the other 50 percent of the joint venture,sold its stake in the supplier ofContract Packaging Services as well as packaging andlogistics services for clinical studies also tothe PCI Pharma Services.
