Faller Packaging joins the Global Packaging Alliance
The Global Packaging Alliance (GPA) is a strategic alliance of independent companies in the packaging industry that enables medium-sized, non-integrated packaging companies to participate more easily in the global packaging market. Faller Packaging took the opportunity to join the international association in the spring of this year. In the future, the packaging specialist will benefit from the constant exchange of information within a worldwide network of companies – and the GPA will gain expertise in the pharmaceutical sector.
“The GPA has members all over the world. It was looking for a reliable and innovative representative for the European region,” explains Kerstin Löffler, Vice President Marketing, Corporate Communications & ESG at Faller Packaging. “That’s how members became aware of us.” During their visit to Waldkirch and Binzen, the international GPA delegation, consisting of representatives of packaging companies from Brazil, Mexico, India, South Africa, China, South Korea and Turkey, were particularly impressed by the professionalism, sophisticated processes and high product quality of Faller Packaging.
Joining the GPA is a true win-win situation: The fact that Faller Packaging is the first company with a 100% pharmaceutical focus to join the GPA is of particular interest to existing GPA members. “Besides pharmaceutical, our association partners have expertise in sectors like food, confectionery and fast-moving consumer goods, but the steadily growing pharmaceutical sector has very specific requirements,” says Löffler. “This is why our expertise is in high demand.” Faller Packaging benefits from the constant exchange of information within a worldwide company network in which crucial expertise is shared. Löffler is convinced: “This will help us to serve the needs of international customers even more efficiently.”
