Faller Packaging launches a package leaflet with index
Users of medicines know the problem: package leaflets are usually confusing, long and difficult to understand.Once unfolded, it’s also difficult to put them neatly back into the packaging.Faller Packaging has developed a solution for this. The specialist company for pharmaceutical packaging is now launching a package leaflet with an index.
Pharmaceutical manufacturers are required by law to provide their customers with comprehensive information on each individual product. Most of the information is printed on the package leaflet – however, the sheer volume of data often makes these leaflets confusing for users. Small font sizes that are difficult to read and complicated folds make them challenging to use, especially for older patients.
In contrast, Faller Packaging’s new package leaflet comes with a handy index. It can be printed with the headings required by the European Union, for instance – what the medication is used for, how to take it, dosage, side effects, storage and packaging contents, in individual sections or customised to match the customer’s requirements. In this way, the leaflet provides the best possible guidance. Information can be found quickly, and its compact format makes it easy to stow the leaflet back into its original packaging. This facilitates handling and saves time.
Faller Packaging has designed the package leaflet to fit perfectly into various pharmaceutical packages. The new solution also integrates smoothly into existing packaging lines. The leaflet is compliant with EU Directive 2004/27/EC, manufacturing is carried out in accordance with GMP (German Medicinal Products Act) and FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) guidelines and is DIN ISO 9001-certified. Pharmaceutical manufacturers thus obtain a product that meets even the highest quality requirements and offers users real added value at the same time.
