Faller Packaging at CPhI in Barcelona
CPhI is one of the largest trade fairs for the pharmaceutical industry worldwide. It will take place this year in Barcelona (24-26 October). One focal point in 2023 is the topic of sustainability. This is also reflected in Faller Packaging’s trade show presentation. The focus at Stand 2G20 in Hall 2 will be on sustainable and clever packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical industry.
The sustainability trend has become an absolute must for pharmaceutical and healthcare packaging. Visitors to the 60-square-meter stand will learn how Faller Packaging helps its customers on their way to a climate-neutral future. The specialist company for folding cartons, labels and leaflets will present its sustainable packaging strategies for biopharmaceuticals, sterile products and fibre-based monomaterial concepts at CPhI.
The packaging experts accompany their customers throughout the entire development process, from the initial idea to the finished product. Together, they analyse the requirements for secondary packaging properties. Together with its partner Uhlmann Group, Faller Packaging advises its customers along the entire value chain, providing them with holistic support during the transition to sustainable secondary packaging.
For manual to fully automated packaging
Faller Packaging will also present its PrePackaging Service in Barcelona. Together with its cooperation partner, the machine manufacturer Schubert-Pharma, Faller Packaging will accompany its customers on a PrePackaging Service journey, from launch to series production – and the company also provides support for rapid market entry following approval. The customer has the choice – for every level of automation: For example, to bridge machine delivery times or to pack small quantities, Faller Packaging supplies pre-assembled pharmaceutical packaging for manual filling at the customer’s site. Manufacturers can partially automate filling with the mobile Schubert cobots for medium packaging volumes. For full automation, Schubert-Pharma develops individual and reliable top-loading packaging systems in compliance with international standards.
Yet another highlight at the Faller stand: Smart Labels with temperature or light indicators for the simple and safe use of medicines that require refrigeration or are light-sensitive. Printable temperature or light indicators on the labels increase the user-friendliness and safety of Self-Application Medicines.
